PRESENTACIÓN
Estados Unidos afrontó unas elecciones del apocalipsis. Demócratas y Republicanos extremaron sus advertencias sobre el rumbo del país. La presidencia de Donald Trump ha sido, para la ciudadanía y sobre todo para los periodistas, una verdadera escuela en cuestiones de gobierno, legislación e historia de Estados Unidos. El presidente arrancó los resultados de esta reelección con demandas de fraude y maipulación en los votos.
¿Qué pasó realmente en las elecciones de Estados Unidos?
Un grupo de expertos analistas norteamericanos contarán sus experiencias y sus teorías acerca de la difícil situación que está viviendo ese país y cómo afectará al mundo que Biden pueda llegar al poder formalmente.
OBJETIVO
Un taller de análisis muy profundo sobre el Liderazgo Político y las estrategias de líderes que se vieron en plena campaña electoral. Una experiencia única que le dará a los alumnos de INISEG y público en general una visión más analítica de un sistema político muy diferente al resto y analizar lo que pasó realmente en ese sistema tan aprticular de votos.

PONENTES
Profesor John Yoo
John Yoo is the Emanuel Heller Professor of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, a Visiting Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, and a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.
His tenth book, Defender-in-Chief: Trump’s Fight for Presidential Power, was published in the summer of 2020 by St. Martin’s Press. Professor Yoo’s other books examine presidential power, terrorism, the laws of war, military and law enforcement technology, and the Constitution’s separation of powers.
Professor Yoo has published more than 100 articles in academic journals on subjects including national security, constitutional law, international law, and the Supreme Court. He also regularly contributes to the editorial pages of theWall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and National Review, among others.
Professor Yoo has served in all three branches of government. He was an official in the U.S. Department of Justice, where he worked on national security and terrorism issues after the 9/11 attacks. He served as general counsel of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. He has been a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and federal appeals Judge Laurence Silberman. He has been a visiting professor at Seoul National University in South Korea, the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel, Keio University in Japan, Trento University in Italy, the University of Chicago, and the Free University of Amsterdam.
Professor Yoo graduated from Yale Law School and summa cum laude from Harvard College. At Berkeley, Professor Yoo directs the Public Law and Policy program and the Korea Law Center and is a winner of the Federalist Society’s Paul Bator award.

Profesor Matt C. Pinsker
Professor Matt C. Pinsker is an expert in homeland security and criminal justice. An officer in the US Army Reserves, he holds a JD and LLM in National Security & US Foreign Relations and is an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). A prolific writer, Matt Pinsker has authored a textbook in national security as well as multiple articles published in peer reviewed legal journals. Formerly, Mr. Pinsker worked as a prosecutor and magistrate, and also practices criminal defense. He has trained countless police officers, federal agents, attorneys, members of the military, and others responsible in the nation’s security.
Matt earned a BA from The College of William & Mary and JD from the West Virginia University College of Law where he was the founding Editor-in-Chief of the West Virginia National Security Law Review. He earned his LLM from The George Washington University Law School while handling appellate prosecutions for the Army JAG Corps and later did Security Threat Assessment Operations with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Matt currently resides in Henrico County outside the City of Richmond, Virginia, near where he was born and raised. Teniente General US Army Jim Dubik
Liutenant General (R) U.S. Army with over 37 years of active service. Jim Dubik is a Senior Fellow at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and at the Association of the U.S. Army’s Institute of Land Warfare (ILW).He earned a PhD in philosophy from the Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Arts and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He was a professor at Georgetown University’s Center for Strategic Studies. He wrote Just War Reconsidered: Strategy, Ethics, and Theory, and he is the co-author, with General Gordon Sullivan, of Envisioning future Warfare.He writes frequently for Army magazine and published over 200 essays, articles, monographs, opeds, on-line foreign policy and national security posts, as well as chapters in books, and forwards to books. His February 2018 ISW, monograph, “America’s Global Competitions: The Gray Zone in Context,” and his August 2019 Army magazine essay, “How Long Can the Threshold of War Hold?” are two recent, oft-read works. His current ISW project is writing about what America should have learned from 19 years of war. He has been quoted in numerous print and online media outlets. Jim is a frequent lecturer, panel member, and media analyst on national security issues. He is also President and CEO of Dubik Associates, an international consulting firm with a focus on leader development, organizational change, and national strategic and intelligence issues. He is a Board Member and Trustee of the Leadership Roundtable; member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Security Advisory Council, U.S. Global Leadership Coalition; 2012-2013 General Omar N. Bradley Chair in Strategic Leadership cosponsored by the Army War College, Dickinson College, and Penn State Law School; and U.S. Recipient of the 2017 Thomas B. Hagan Dignitas Award.He is a member of the Army Ranger Hall of Fame as well as a distinguished member of the U.S. Army 75th Ranger Regiment. Jim was raised in Erie, PA and now lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Sharon.
